Metrô de Superfície Premissas Para Implantação do Metrô de Superfície • Possibilidade de oferta de 40.000 lugares/hora/sentido • Infraestrutura de circulação (rede aérea, energia, sinalização, via permanente) suficiente para intervalo mínimo de 3 minutos • Operação com loop interno • Atendimento da área mais carregada de cada linha (horizonte 2010/2014)

EXPANSÃO CPTM Investimentos em material rodante e infraestrutura voltados à modernização e expansão da rede da CPTM • FROTA : Aquisição de novos trens e recuperação da frota patrimonial • ESTAÇÕES : Modernização e adaptação para acessibilidade das estações existentes e construção de novas estações • INFRAESTRUTURA : Modernização da via permanente, sistemas de energia, telecomunicação, sinalização e obras de arte • SEGREGAÇÃO DE CARGA : Implantação do projeto de segregação de carga, com segregação Leste, Noroeste e Mergulhão • INSERÇÃO URBANA : Liberação de 125 mil m² no trecho Lapa – Barra Funda, unificação da estação Lapa (linhas 7 e 8)
