  2. Climates • There are four major types of climate . They are warm, moderate, arid and cold. • The warm climates are found in the subtropical with no dry season. • The moderate climate is affected a lot by the ocean. • The arid climates are found in the mountains. • The cold climates are a glacial type of cold climate.

Landforms • Argentina has some of the tallest mountain ranges, unrestrained deserts and impressive waterfalls. • Argentina can be separated into six portions namely Cuyo and Andean Northwest, Mesopotamia and the Northeast, The Chaco, The Pampas, Patagonia and Lake District and Tierra Del Fuego. • Cuyo and Andean Northwest has fertile river valleys and subtropical lowlands. It gets very little rainfall. • Mesopotamia and the Northeast is wet, hot, and swampy. • The Chaco has grasslands and thorny forests. • The Pampas is mostly fertile. • Patagonia and Lake District has oil and coal and experiences and it is a desert climate. • Tierra Del Fuego is mild and is frequent to storms.

  4. People • The average age for males are 29 years old. • The average age of females are 31 years old. • The population are mostly white. They also are Spanish and Italian. They also are Mestizo and Amerindian. • The top religions are Roman Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, and other. • The languages are Spanish, Italian, English, German, and French.

  5. Economy • Argentine peso (ARS)-Currency • $1 in the United States would equal 3.7873 Argentine Pesos. • The population in Argentina is 39,537,900. • Population Density for sq kms are 14.29.

  6. Global Interaction • They import many things. • They import things like machinery, motor vehicles, petroleum and natural gas, organic chemicals, and plastics. • They export things like soybeans and derivatives, petroleum and gas, vehicles, corn, and wheat.

  7. Citizenship and Government • The government type of Argentina is Republic. • It’s independence is July 9, 1816 from Spain. • The constitution was made May 1, 1853. • The government is a mixture of US and West European legal systems.
