  2. It is up to you to ensure that your contact information and preferences are up-to-date and accurate in the Life University Emergency Notification System (ENS)

  3. The information you provide will update your records in Colleague. • The following instructions allow you to ensure that your ENS contact information is in place, up-to-date and accurate.

  4. 1) Go to http://life.edu/ 2) Click on the Quick Links dropdown arrow 3) Click on Web Advisor

  5. New WebAdvisor Users 3a) If this is your first time on Web Advisor, click on the I’m New to WebAdvisor link NOTE: If you’re already familiar with WebAdvisor, skip ahead to Step 4

  6. Forgotten Password 3b) If you’ve forgotten your Password, click on the What’s My Password link NOTE: If you’re already familiar with WebAdvisor, skip ahead to Step 4

  7. 4) Click on the Log In tab

  8. 5) Enter your User ID and Password 6) Then click SUBMIT

  9. 7) Select the category that matches your status

  10. 8) Click on Address and Emergency Notification Information under User Account NOTE: Your screen may look a bit different based on your Student/Faculty/Employee status

  11. NOTE: You will need to scroll down your screen to see all the information below. Click on the scroll bar and drag down OR use the ↓ key on your keyboard.

  12. TEXT NOTIFICATIONS 9a.) To receive emergency notifications by SMS (text) message, fill in your cell phone number NOTE: Filling in (or correcting) your cell phone number will opt you into the text message system

  13. VOICEMAIL NOTIFICATIONS 9b.) To receive emergency notifications by voicemail, fill in your phone number(s) and check the Emergency OPT IN box(es)

  14. EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS 9c.) To receive emergency notifications by email, fill in your email address(es) and check an Emergency OPT IN box for each. NOTE: You do not need to use more than one email address but check the OPT IN box beside each email address that you use.

  15. SUBMIT Click SUBMIT to finish

  16. That’s it…you’re done! • You have now fully opted in to the Life University Emergency Notification System (ENS) • It is up to you to ensure that your contact information and preferences are up-to-date and accurate.
