Shahadah. Salaat. Zakaah. Sawm. Hajj. There are five pillars of Islam…. 3. 4. 5. 2. 1. The Shahadah is the first pillar of Islam. Muslims testify (say):. لا اله الا الله. محد رسول الله. ” There is no true God but Allaah and Muhammad is the true Messenger of Allaah .”.

  2. The Shahadah is the first pillar of Islam Muslims testify (say): لا اله الا الله محد رسول الله ”There is no true God but Allaah and Muhammad is the true Messenger of Allaah.”

  3. Salaat:Prayer There are five required prayers that Muslims must pray each day….., prayer is conducted facing towards Mecca.

  4. Muslims pray: Salatul Fajr, at dawn • Salatul Dhuhr, at midday • Salatul Asr, in the late afternoon • Salatul Maghrib, at sunset • Salatul ‘Isha, in the evening

  5. Ritual ablution (Wudu) before prayer

  6. Jumu'ah, congregational Friday prayer

  7. Zakah is a pillar of Islam Zakah is food or money given to those in need The Quran does not specify an amount, but many Muslims give 2.5% of their wealth yearly

  8. Sawm is a pillar of Islam… Sawm means fast, to give up food or drink during daylight hours. Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.

  9. Hajjis a pillar of Islam… Hajj is a trip to the Kabah in Mecca that every Muslim should make at least once in his or her life, if able to.

  10. 7th to 13th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar.
