  3. Systems of the Human Body • Purpose • We are going to read about how foods are digested and how the nervous system controls movement of the body. We are going to understand the function of the various organs in these systems.

  4. Systems of the Human Body • Summary • Digestion breaks food into forms the body can use. • The organs of the digestive system include the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine.
