  3. Big Picture of Airport Revenue • Does your Board see your airport as the Economic Engine of your region? • Does your Board think outside the box on raising revenue? • Does your Board receive funds from City general fund? • Does your Aviation department generate sufficient funds?

How to Partnership • Does your city have AVI in use on highways? • Is roadway conducive to having Readers and Transponders? • Increase revenue from Parking can reduce landing fees resulting in increase airlines and flights to your airport • Control front of the Terminal Roadways (AVI only vehicles) Premium service • All others use garage to access terminals

  7. DFW Parking Business Unit History • Opened 1974 • The Airport has one main road, International Parkway, which runs the length of the Airport north to south. All terminals, parking areas, and on-site hotels are accessible from this road • In 1999, started with 9K TransCore Passkey accounts-GT, Off Parking, and Courtesy • Required guests to sign up for AVI system resulting in 2 AVI systems for metroplex Passkey & NTTA

DFW Parking Business Unit History • On 10/1/2003 converted from Passkey's 12.3K accounts to 1M NTTA accounts • AVI usage increased by 275% during FY 2004 with NTTA (553K transaction to 2.08M transactions) • AVI usage has grown 194% since FY2004 to 6.1M public parker NTTA transaction in FY2012 • AVI generates $4 million per month

  10. Revenue Versus Expenditures • Drop Off/ In and Out in less than 30 minutes • Meet Greet is staying between 30 minutes and 2 hours • Expenditures $14.6 million for all Parking Products
