  14. More need to know……. • Attendance: Will be taken each day by each teacher • Grades: Grades need to be posted for assignments no later than 5 days after the assignment is turned in for credit. • Expectation for entering grades in gradebook-minimum one grade every 2 weeks.

Tardy passes StudentDT Slip • Printed Pass from Office-AM Only • Do not send students to the office for a pass if they are tardy between classes. • Tardy Seminar • Students have 4 free days-then seminar is served • Served on the 5th day and every other day after (6,7,etc.) • Escort students to the media center • Accumulation of tardy data starts over each quarter

Discipline Referrals • Writing a discipline referral for teacher related incidents: • Parent Contact AND • 2 Other “Prior Interventions” • Retaught on student time • Contacted counselor • Team Meeting • Changed seating arrangement • Behavior Contract • Positive Reinforcements • Other • Copy given to team leader

Sending students to the office • ALL staff who send a student to the office MUST notify the office the student is coming. • ALL students who are sent to the office need a referral in hand or the teacher must notify the office as to WHY the student is in the office. • ALL students who come to the office must speak with a principal before they return to the next class period.

Whole To Part • First Two Weeks-School Rules\Procedures • After that……… • Identified teachers will be doing the WTP intervention with some students • In the mean time….Amy and Sara will be assessing the remainder of the students • ALL other students will be SILENTLY READING a book at their independent level. • Amy and Sara will provide every teacher the reading level of the students in their room • ALL students MUST BE monitored during this time… Teacher in proximity of students at ALL times • More to come tomorrow!!!!!

Beyond the bell • What: Before and after school program that provides tutoring and supervision • Where: Commons and Classrooms • When : Time???? • How: Students sign up through a form available in the office. Contact person in the office will be Karen • NO students are allowed to attend Beyond the Bell until the proper paperwork has been filed • A greatly reduced fee is offered if the student is on Free or Reduced Lunch • Kayla Ruhland and Beth Whelan will be the instructors

  26. TEAM leader meetings • Shawn will be setting these up with all of the Team Leaders during the first few days
