  3. Fall 2018 Tuition and Fees Completion Information about fees is on the Controller’s Office website www.southeastern.edu/fees Total charges may be divided into 3 installments under a pay plan for a $45 processing fee each semester

  5. FAFSA What is the FAFSA? • Free Application for Federal Student Aid • www.fafsa.ed.gov Why should I complete the FAFSA? • Determines if you can receive Federal Assistance like PELL Grants, SEOG, Loans and Federal Work Study • Requirement for many need based scholarships

  8. How will I Pay? Federal Aid for incoming freshmen: currently • PELL Grants - $6,095 per year (need based) • SEOG - $2,000 per year (need based, limited funds) • Subsidized Loans - $3,500 per year (need based) • Unsubsidized Loans - $2,000 per year Cost vs Federal Aid • Tuition and Fees are around $8,600 per year • Housing and Meals are approximately $8,700 per year

Scholarships Southeastern Priority Scholarships Deadline to apply to Southeastern: January 15th Eligibility and Retention: Deadline to apply to Southeastern: • Student must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester through the 14th class day • Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA • Student must complete 30 credit hours per academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer)

Scholarships Southeastern Honors Scholarships After the priority deadline Eligibility and Retention: Deadline to apply to Southeastern: • Student must be enrolled in at least 12 hours each semester through the 14th class day • Students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA • Student must complete 30 credit hours per academic year (Fall, Spring, Summer)

TOPS • For this Fall 2018 - • TOPS Opportunity : $2,826 • TOPS Performance : $3,026 • TOPS Honors : $3,226 • TOPS Tech : $1,190 (only for our AAS-IT) • Last ACT is April for TOPS unless you have not gotten an eligible score, then you could take the exam through June with a 1 semester penalty.

Dual Enrollment Scholarship • To be eligible: • Complete 15 hours or more of dual enrollment credits from Southeastern with a “C” or better • Must enroll beginning the summer/fall immediately following graduation • Must be enrolled full-time • $1,000 scholarship per year • Payments are split into $500 for Fall 2019/ $500 Spring 2020
