  3. Introduction to AIS Custom Installation Services • As you already know, American Iron Sports, LLC manufacturers high quality pitching machines. What you may not know is that we custom build baseball/softball facilities and Multi-Sport Complexes across the country. The following slides will introduce you to some of our services.

  4. Crew Arrival • The American Iron Sports, LLC installation crew arrives on site in Texas to install a 4 stall, 8 machine custom batting cage facility.

  5. Ready to go to work • The crew surveys the concrete, building specs, and electrical supply locations, to begin planning out the installation.

  6. Ready for Installation • An empty building ready to be turned into a baseball facility complete with 4 softball/baseball cages, 3 hitting/instructional tunnels and 3300 sq. ft of indoor baseball turf.

  7. Initial Machine Setup • The AIS crew lines up the pitching machines for proper location prior to beginning the custom portion of the facility.

  8. Unloading Material and Taking Inventory • Master Fabricator, Matthew Bixler and Project Manager, Matthew Garrabrants carry a steel pipe that will support the main batting cage netting. AIS takes initial inventory to ensure all materials have arrived on schedule.

  9. Central Ball Distribution System Installation • The AIS crew uses a fork lift to assist in the installation of a 1600 lb ball distribution center.

  10. Elevator and Central Distribution System • The elevator and central distribution system are installed, aligned, leveled and tested.

  11. Elevator Anchors • 12 ft high, 800 lbs elevator securely mounted with concrete lags into the foundation of the facility.

  12. I-bolt Installation • An I-bolt is securely mounted into the concrete with a lag. The I-bolts are used to connect the aircraft cable netting system.

  13. Wall Cable Systems • The AIS crew are experts in custom cable system installation and fabrication, giving us the ability to install batting cages almost anywhere.

  14. Ceiling Cable System • A custom ceiling cable system is shown.

  15. Custom Net Installation • AIS makes custom modules net systems for all commercial installations. This allows the customer to save money by replacing sections of net one piece at at time. This saves the custom money and creates customer loyalty.

  16. Net and Cable Mount Point • Once the nets are installed and fitted properly, AIS makes sure the bottom of the nets are held to the ground with a gold border rope.

  17. Custom Fabrication • Master Fabricator Matt Bixler creates custom ceiling drop mounts for the instructional cages.

  18. Steel Fabrication • Onsite welding and fabrication allow AIS to work around the unexpected challenges that always arise on a complicated installation.

  19. Custom Design • Tension adjusting turnbuckles mount to the custom steel work performed by AIS. Allowing for cable system tension to be adjusted in the future.

  20. Distribution System Setup • The AIS crew runs the distribution tubes from the central distribution system. This enables the machines to be fed with the proper balls.

  21. Backstop Netting • The custom designed #60 weight backstop netting has pre-fabricated doors/openings ready to be framed with fencing for an ultra clean and professional look.

  23. Turf Stance Mats • AIS installs custom turf batting mats in all the cages to ensure a proper hitting surface is presented to the hitter for comfort, safety and professional appeal.

  27. Turf Seeming • The AIS crew polishes off the final seem of the 3300 sq. ft of turf. The AIS crew knows how to make those seems nearly undetectable.

  28. 3300 sq. ft of Turf • The AIS crew laid 3300 sq. ft of turf for 3 instructional cages. All turf is installed with seem tapes, and border turf glue for a long lasting, reliable installation.

  31. Custom Pitching Machines Configuration • The crew of AIS installed and configured a custom pitching machine configuration using Atec and MasterPitch machines. The two different manufacturer’s machines worked in harmony wired into the MasterPitch central control panel.

  32. Customized Dual Machine Configuration • Less than three people or companies are known to operate in the US performing custom machine configurations. AIS is the premier installer, recommended by Atec and MasterPitch.
