  1. Students Speak By Emily T and Alex W You can make a difference in the world

  2. Do you want our planet to look like this? Litter -is waste that people dispose of outdoors. It can be illegitimately packaging or other superfluous items. Litter can be vandalism, negligence, or inadvertence. Litter is a form of visual pollution. It can harm health, safety, and wellbeing. It adversely affects wildlife and ecological eminence. Many people around the world litter on our planet thus creating an earth full of rubbish. As you can see if we continue with this disgusting habit of trashing garbage where it is not supposed to be, then the world will truly look like the universe’s landfill.

  3. Global Warming As the Earth is getting hotter, disasters like hurricanes, droughts and floods are getting more frequent. Soon the suns thrashing rays will beat down on the planet and melt the earth, causing the glaciers and ice caps to melt with it. Then there will be humongous floods rushing throughout the earth’s surface. Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans

  4. TheGreenhouse Effect Seen from space , our atmosphere is but a tiny layer of gas around a huge colossal planet. But it is this gaseous external ring and its misleadingly called greenhouse effect that makes life on Earth possible. In the greenhouse effect gases in the atmosphere trap energy from the sun, like carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and methane. Then without these gases heat would escape back into space. These gases are called greenhouse gases. Like a greenhouse, the gases prevent the warm air from rising and escaping into the atmosphere. As a result, the overall temperature of the earth will increase rapidly. This is effecting our earth majorly soon in the future some scientists predict that the North and South poles will melt. Ocean levels will rise and flood coastal cities.

  5. The Solution • We can use wind mills so it makes energy instead then burning minerals such as coal. The way that wind mills work are when the wind starts up it moves the wind mills which makes energy. • We could also use solar panels. The humans on this planet are hurting the earth in so many ways. First of all people are littering all over the earth, throwing their unneeded trash all over the ground making a colossal waste bucket. There is clear evidence all over the ground and that is just evidently ghastly. Soon our earth will be transformed into a giant compost bucket, a landfill, and a disgusting and revolting junkyard. Is that how you want to live, surviving on a nauseated and sordid planet until you die? Our Solution- People can participate in more community service, and pick up trash in the area. People can do it more often, maybe twice a week. Also, people can pick up litter in more places. We say, in every city. This way the about of trash being picked up, will be more than the amount of trash that is being put down if we can get more people to help. Even though America is becoming a disgusting place based on all this garbage, other countries need the help as well. So we speak to you, leaders of the world, let this influence you to help your people become eco-friendly!

  6. More Solutions If we didn’t cut down all the trees we would have more oxygen in the air instead of more CO2, which contributes to the greenhouse effect. Instead of using regular paper we could make our own! Instead of using Plastic water bottles we can use metal of hard water bottles For a solution to global warming, we could ride our bikes to school, carpool with each other, or even walk to school if you live close. Also not just to school but to other places as well to prevent those gases from flowing up into the air.

  7. Reduce Reuse The End Recycle
