  2. DoDAAC and UIC Queries in AESIP

  3. Queries Detailed Navigation Screen Open the Queries Menu

  4. Queries Drop Down Menu When the Queries Menu is opened, various query options are available.

  5. Once the DoDAAC Query Menu is opened, there are a variety of ways to search for DoDAACs. This is a search for active DoDAACs assigned to a UIC. (This includes active DoDAACs on an inactive UIC.) The small arrow shows where the directory can be minimized. DoDAAC Query Menu

  6. The UIC “WP0E” is added. Click the “submit” button. This will show the UICs in the WP0E series. DoDAAC Query Results DoDAACs can be arranged/grouped by UIC by clicking the top arrow. You will have to scroll over to see all the information. Click on any DoDAAC to drill down to see DoDAAC detail information.

  7. DoDAAC Detail This is part of the DoDAAC detail. You will need to scroll over to see the rest of the information for this DoDAAC.

  8. Although this option exists for research purposes, most Army units will never have the need to use it. This is for OTHER SERVICE DoDAACs (Navy, Marines, Air Force, GSA, etc.) Other Service DoDAAC Query

  9. APOD Query would be used to identify the Aerial Port of Debarkation. APODs are typically used for OCONUS DoDAACs (includes Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Virgin Islands). APOD Query Select Country Code and click “submit”.

  10. The valid APOD codes are shown here by location. This is a listing for all the APODs in Iraq. The system displays only a portion of the query results, so it may be necessary to scroll down to select the APOD needed. Results of APOD Query If additional locations are needed, click on the arrow at the bottom of the screen to advance to the next set of locations.

  11. Water Port of Debarkation Query (WPOD) is identical to the APOD query to use. WPODs are typically used for OCONUS DoDAACs (includes Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Virgin Islands). WPOD Query Select Country Code and click “submit”.

  12. WPOD Query Results Four WPODs are identified for “Iraq”. WPODs are pre-established for deployment. However, if you need to identify a WPOD, this is the process.

  13. SPLC Query NOTE: The SPLC (Standard Point Location Code) should always be identified prior to establishing a BBP, moving a BBP, or changing an existing BBP on a DoDAAC to ensure that the correct SPLC is populated on the record. Start by selecting “SPLC Query”. SPLCs apply to CONUS DoDAACs only.

  14. Enter the city and click “submit”. SPLC Query by City

  15. SPLC Query Results Click on the top arrow to group by state. (In some cases, there are states that have cities with the same name.)

  16. SPLC Query Within State Once the correct state is identified, identify the county that corresponds to the street address.

  17. Identifying the Correct SPLC Once you have identified all the correct information, click to highlight the line as a reference and scroll back to select the SPLC code.

  18. SPLC Number Query If you know a SPLC, but are uncertain of where it is located, enter the SPLC number and click “submit”.

  19. SPLC Number Query The same SPLC can be used for multiple locations. In this example, the SPLC is assigned to Platte County, MO. There are seven cities within that area that use the same SPLC.

  20. SPLC Query by County If only the county is known, enter the county name and click “submit”.

  21. SPLC Query by County This query returned 719 locations in 20 states. At this point, you can group by state to narrow the search. Click on down arrow to group states.

  22. UIC query is used to determine UIC related information, including unit name, OESTS date, TPSN and date of last action. Query may be performed by individual UIC or for an entire UIC series. Select “UIC Query”. UIC Query

  23. UIC Query Detail Enter the UIC or UIC series. Then hit “submit”. NOTE: In this example, you are looking at the entire W8S0 series.

  24. UIC Query Search Results This query lists UICs in the W8S0 series. It identifies Iowa Field Maintenance Shops (FMS) 1 through 15. As the screen will display only 10 at one time, scroll down and select the down arrow to see remaining UICs.

  25. UIC Query (Scroll Down) You must scroll to the bottom of the page to find the down arrow which will allow you to advance to additional records retrieved in the query results.

  26. UIC Query (Scroll Down) This page shows the remaining UICs under W8S0 series after advancing to the next set of query results.
