  2. 1 cup yellow daal 1 spoon ginger garlic paste 1 cup tomato Half cup chopped onion Half spoon turmeric Red chili to taste Salt to taste 1 spoon Jeera Oil Direction: 1. Wash the dal in running water. 2. Heat oil in the cooker and add jeera. 3. Add onion, saute until it turns light golden 4. Now add ginger and garlic paste and chilies. Mix well. 5. Add tomatoes and cook until it softens. 6. After that, add turmeric and red chili powder and mix well. 7. Add washed dal in cooker and 1 letter of water. 8. Mix well and check the consistency. 9. Cook till pressure cooker blow one whistle and turn the gas off. 10. Your restaurant style dal tadka recipe is ready to serve. Enjoy it with rice or chapati alongside your favorite sabzi.
