Specific information about Information Sciences Institutions involved in formulating the domain specific framework / developing model curriculum for IS: • IS 2010 Curriculum Guidelines for Undergraduate Degree Programs in Information Systems is the latest report on the model curriculum work in the Information Systems field • The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) • AIS (Association for Information Systems) • AITP (formerly DPMA) and • IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing)

Positioning of the programme • Local context of the programme • what do local industries need from entry-level professionals? • Is the programme embedded in a Technical Faculty, or in an Economical Faculty? • this says something about the focus of the programme • and of the specialisation of the faculty members, for instance
