WHOQOL-OLD. • Participation: coordinator of the project in the Czech Republic • Principle investigator: Prof. Michael Power, University of Edinburgh • Objective: Development of an instrument to measure quality of life in older age (WHOQOL-OLD) based on WHOQOL (WHO), and its application in the international study on factors of Healthy Ageing Dr.Eva Dragomirecka

Scheffler, University of California, Berkeley • Objective: Interdisciplinary clerkship of selected Czech experts at UC Berkeley and collaboration in order to map psychiatric care in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Sub-project: „Establishing a system to monitor mental health service utilisation data“. • Participation: local investigator for the Czech Republic • Principle investigator: Prof. Heinz Katschnig, Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Social Psychiatry, Vienna • Objective: Part of FP EU „Community Action Programme on Public Health 2003-2008. Output will be the analysis of a current system of data collection on both national and international level, and a proposal of mental health benchmarks. Dr.Eva Dragomirecka
