  3. ELECTIVE FOCUS • Humanities- according to the state definition include, English, Language Arts, Foreign Language and Social Studies. Any combination of three from any of the four areas will meet these requirements. • Fine Arts-can be any combination of three courses from a broad offering of courses in art, music, dance, theater, etc. • Science and Math-can be any combination of the two areas beyond the posted core requirements. • AP or IB-can be any combination of either or both areas. This area can overlap with core requirements. • CTE-includes courses in a cluster. Students must complete three courses found in one program of study. These included course cannot be a random collection of CTE courses. An Elective Focus is a minimum of 3 courses in a focus area in addition to posted core requirements. An Elective Focus includes: HUMANITIES FINE ARTS SCIENCE AND MATH ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) INTERNATIONAL BACCALUREATE (IB) CAREER AND TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION (CTE)

  4. Fine Art( Any 3 credits beyond the 1 credit requirement)

  5. Humanities (Any 3 credits : Lang. Arts, English, Social Studies, Foreign Lang.)

  6. Advanced Placement (Any 3 AP Courses)

  7. Vocational Center(All courses are 3 hours and 3 credits) Grades 10-12: One Year meets elective focus requirement; however, additional years available
