Power • 11.1 volt 2200mA h lithium-polymer battery will power all components (airplane motors, servos, autopilot board, sensor board, pcb). • Autopilot board and sensor board operates at 5 volts and current drawn will not exceed 500 mA. • PCB draws maximum current at 815 mA • PCB will have three switchmode DC-DC convertors(3.3 V, 2.6V, 1.6V)

  3. Pic32MX and interfacing • Performs all data management operations • Use 8 Mhz crystal to operate the microprocessor at 80Mhz using PLL • 128 KB of SRAM used as buffer for the image data • SD card protocol to communicate with SD card (12 MB/s data transfer rate)

  4. Camera • Operates at 2.6 and 1.6 volts with max frequency of 20 mhz • Provides JPEG compression • Data transmission begins with SOI and ends EOI • HBLK is used as an enable signal to signify data is ready. • Data is outputted in multiples of the MCU • VBLK is high during image transmission
