  2. SPA Unfortunately we don’t have natural spas but we have technical spa in luxury hotels all over Cyprus. The Cypriot people don’t go to spas because the prices are very high(100-300€) in relation to the low salary of an average Cypriot family.(2000-3000€)

  3. WATER SPORTS SWIMMING SCUBA DIVING WIND SURFING FISHING SAILING CANOE-KAYAK

  4. FAMOUS BEACHES FOR WATER SPORTS The most famous beaches are Macenzy, KOT , Protara , Agia Napa , Lemesos, Castella beach and Coral bay in Paphos

  5. SWIMMING Swimming is a sport that many people in Cyprus do it as a hobby . Not many people choose it as a professional career.But we have a golden metal winning swimmer named Carolina Pelendridou in Paralympic GAMES of 2010

  6. SCUBA DIVING As an island we have a lot of places for diving . The most famous place is the Zenovia ship wreck in Makenzy beach

  7. WIND SURFING In Cyprus we have a lot of beaches that are suitable for wind surfing and the climate is perfect for it . Also the last summer we hosted the world wide championship.

  8. FISHING In Cyprus fishing is the most famous water sport for all ages . A lot of people go to beaches and dams. The most famous fish in Cyprus is Tsipoura.

  9. SAILING Until last year this sport wasn’t famous but when PavlosKontidis won the silver metal in the Olympic Games, it became well known.

  10. KANOE-KAYAK This sport is widespread among young people but only for hobby and exercise . Its customary to be in dams and sea
