Suggestions for upcoming meeting agendas • July 30th – AP presentation/discussion on beam and machine modes, global naming convention, MPS reqt’s for commissioning • Aug 6th – joint AP/Diagnostics discussion on Process Variables, Diagnostics Prioritization • Aug 13th – presentation and discussion of BLM ICD • Aug 20th – presentation and discussion of BPM ICD • Aug 27th – presentation and discussion of BCM and DCCT/differential current ICDs • Sep 3rd – presentation and discussion of Profile ICD (includes pepper pot?) • Sep 10th – system status – BCM and DCCT • Sep 17th – system status – BLM • Sep 24th – system status – BPM • Oct 1st – system status – Profile (includes pepper pot?) • Oct 8th – Preparation for Design Review • Oct 15th – Design Review

  13. Complication for ‘smart’ systems • ‘Smart’ systems have embedded PC, will run EPICS locally – BPM, BCM, DCCT, BLM,… • Still evaluating whether to go with Libera or Xilinx • DCCT is Xilinx – acceptance testing next month • Libera demo delayed by I-Tech vendor board manufacturing problems, demo box due late August • Steep learning curve for Libera box – everything we need to know for Xilinx, plus learning to live with the Libera wrapper • Libera user’s meeting early September in Slovenia
