  8. Instructions • Plant vine in a shaded site. The plant will grow in sun but prefers some protection from the midday sun. They are sensitive to root disturbance, planting out a potted plant. • Plants can be trained to grow along wires . Untrained plants can be rampant and overwhelm slower growing neighbors. Large plants can be cut back to ground level before the winter and will sprout again the next spring. • Water when the surface of soil is dry. Fertilize once a month for best results. • Plant seeds when pods are ripe. Seeds can take up to 6 weeks to grow, but can reach up to 20 feet in a year.
