  1. Research Problems identified in ZREAC meeting and referred to SAUs for 2009-10 Zone –IIa 1. Suitable weedicide for control of Hiran Khuri (c. arvensis ) in wheat and barley. 2. Wheat seed rate for normal sowing 125 kg and 150 kg for sodic soils. 3. Problem of seed germination due to high EC water. Zone-Ib Recommendation for weed control (Phalaris minor & wheat oat ) in wheat.

Improved technology for short duration wheat. Problem of brown rust incidence in Lok-1 during the month of December Improved technology and varieties for higher yield after 1-2 or 3 irrigation. Productivity of organic wheat.
