16. Mensa and Cafeteria The Studentenwerk (HSW) runs the dining facilities at the university. Lunch is taken in Cafeterias and the Mensa, where A variety of cheap meals and foods is offered. 48. Accommodation There are four on-campus halls of residence with a total capacity of about 1000 places.

49. Accommodation The rooms are rented unfurnished in the form of single apartments and flats designed for flat-sharing. The furnished apartments for exchange students are 20m² with kitchenette and shower/toilet and cost 237 Euro per month. Cable-TV, internet-access and laundry facilities are available.

50. Accommodation Students can either live in one of these residences or rent a room/apartment off campus. The housing market in Wuppertal is quite good. Popular areas to live for students are the „Nordstadt“ and the „Südstadt“ of Wuppertal-Elberfeld, where apartment prices vary between 200 and 250 €.
