  1. Diwali Dance Dhamaka 2021 is being hosted by the Hindu Council of Australia. The Hindu Council of Australia is organizing the Diwali celebrations in collaboration with other organizations, with numerous cultural activities taking place in Martin Place, Parramatta Park, and other places across Sydney, including Harris Park, often known as Little India. The community attends the activities not just because of their religious importance, but also because they have something to offer participants of all ages. There will be Bollywood performances, henna tattoos, trade exhibitions, bazaars, food vendors, and contests. During the ceremony, parliamentarians and community people provide motivational remarks. The majority of the Deepavali 2021 Australia Fair’s cultural programs are free to attend. It is available to all Australians who are proud of their multicultural society and are interested in Indian customs, culture, food, and art, not just the Indian community.

  2. Parramatta Park lies on the western outskirts of the Parramatta CBD. Both Westmead and Parramatta railway stations, as well as the Rivercat port, are a short walk away. Martin Place is well-connected to many modes of public transit. You may take any of the major bus routes that serve Martin Place, such as George Street, Castlereagh Street, or Elizabeth Street. There is also a railway station for Martin Place just beneath the building. The Diwali Festival of Lights is the most widely celebrated festival in the Indian subcontinent and around the world. Deepavali, which translates as “rows of lights,” is a Hindu festival that celebrates the triumph of good over evil, light over darkness, and knowledge over ignorance. Though there are many mythological explanations for this wonderful festival, in today’s world, what the festival of lights truly represents is a reaffirmation of hope, a renewed commitment to friendship, religious tolerance, spreading the word of peace and harmony, and, above all, a celebration of the “simple joys of life. Diwali, also known as Deepavali, is an annual celebration of lights held in October or November. Many Diwali celebrations take place in Australia. Large-scale Diwali celebrations, such as fairs and carnivals, take place in cities like Melbourne and Sydney. These gatherings frequently include: 1. Fireworks show that is well-organized. 2. Food vendors sell a variety of Diwali sweets, savory dishes, and herbs. 3. Dancing and musical acts are included. 4. Stalls sell henna tattoos. 5. The effigy of Ravana, the demon king, is being burned.

  3. Many individuals dress up in their best attire to celebrate Diwali. Many ladies wear jewels and silk garments, and some have Mehendi, a temporary henna adornment, applied to their palms. Various lights, lanterns, and candles are lit at Diwali celebrations in and around private houses. In Australia, Diwali is not a national holiday. However, in regions where Diwali festivities are conducted, traffic may be congested and parking spaces may be scarce. On Diwali, several Indian companies may close early. There have previously been public petitions for Diwali to be designated as a limited commercial trade day. Cricket match dates between India and Australia were also set in the past to prevent clashes with Diwali. Diwali is known as the Festival of Lights, and it commemorates Ramachandra, the seventh avatar (incarnation of the god Vishnu). On this day, Rama is said to have returned to his people after 14 years of exile, during which he fought and defeated the demons and the demon king, Ravana. People burned candles to commemorate his victory against evil (light over darkness). Lakshmi, the goddess of happiness and good fortune, also appears in the festivities. On this day, it is thought that she roams the Earth and enters her pure, clean, and brilliant abode. Diwali

  4. traditions vary by community, but the spiritual importance and significance are typical “knowledge of the inner light.” Signs and symbols of Diwali 2021 This celebration is illuminated with lamps, pyrotechnics, and bonfires since the name “Deepawali” means “a row or cluster of lights” or “rows of Diyas (clay lamps).” The event represents the triumph of justice and the removal of spiritual darkness.
