  1. “DIOGEN”- A New Computing Tool For The Diagnostics And Chemical Analysis Of Nebular Plasma.Oleg Rokach, Astronomical Observatory of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine.rokach@astro.franko.lviv.ua The main distinctive features are: 125 emission lines from UV to far-IR for 32 ions are used; A 4-zone nebular shell model is used to derive Ne and Te simultaneously in separate zones of low-, intermediate-, and high-ionization using a customizable set of 50 diagnostic ratios; An alternative optimized method for plasma diagnostics or the “classical” method of crossing diagnostic curves could be used; Abundances are calculated using a list of ICFs developed by other authors as well as own statistical two-parametric ICFs; An intuitive and user-friendly graphical user interface. The code “DIOGEN” is running under both M$ Windows and Linux. This new astrophysical software may be useful for nebular diagnostics and deriving abundances for planetary nebulae and HII regions.
