One million effector pmel-1 CD8+ T cells (P) were transferred with rhIL-2 (I) in tumor-bearing C57BL/6 mice which were either irradiated with a single dose of irradiation directly at the day of T cell transfer (A) or a dose fractionated over 6 times twice daily up to the amount indicated in the legend (B). All mice received an HSC transplant and were euthanized if they exhibited poor grooming, appeared to be in distress, or showed evidence of weight loss. Data are representative of two independent experiments.
