  2. EPLA Board Member Elections • Open positions • Nominations • Elections

  3. 2013 Summer wrap-up: • Over 193 players registered for summer league: • 9 teams across 5 divisions (U9, U13B, U13A, U15B, and U15A). • 10 head coaches and 30 assistant coaches (12 of which are current EPHS students and 9 alumni). • Over 15 parent helpers (commissioners, team managers, clothing, and evaluation day helpers). • Each team participated in a weekend summer tournament. • U11 Black won the ChamplinPark Ice-breaker tournament. • U13 Black finished third in Bloomington's Bait Bucket Tournament. • U15 White finished second in the Ice breaker Tournament. • U15 Black team was seeded #1 going into the final day of Homegrown River Cup Tournament before the tournament was cancelled due to weather conditions. • State Tournament Results: • U13 Black won the YLM U13 Division II State Tournament. • U15 Black finished third in the YLM U15 State Tournament. • We leveraged our Facebook and Twitter sites to help communicate schedule changes and game updates. • We introduced more options for player and fan apparel to increase visibility to EP Lacrosse.

  10. 2013 Fall Programs: • Boys: • Northstar Lacrosse Fall Brawl League in Minnetonka • Ryan Ward Fall Clinics for Grades 5 – 12 • Girls: • Hannah Nielsen Lacrosse Clinic • Land of 10,000 Lax Tournament • Eagles Girls Fall Ball • College: • October 20, 2013 scrimmage between St. Thomas and Mankato State • EPHS Aries Stadium • 5:00 – 7:00 PM 13

  12. 2014 Winter Programs: • EP Winter Clinics* (registration will open week of 14-Oct-2013): • Boys: • 9 Monday sessions starting January 6, 2014 • 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM for U9, U11 and 13 ($190/player) • 6:30 PM - 7:45 PM for youth goalies ($75/goalie) • 7:15 PM – 8:30 PM for U15 and Freshman ($ 190/player) • 4 Monday sessions (Half-camp Option) starting January 6, 2014 or February 3, 2014 • 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM for beginners ($85/player) • 11 Tuesday sessions starting January 7, 2014 • 9:00 PM – 10:30 PM for High School ($225/player) • * There will be multi-player discounts, as well as higher registration fees for non-EP players, for the Winter Clinic. 15

  13. 2014 Winter Programs (cont.): • Girls: • 9 Monday sessions starting January 6, 2014 • 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM for Grades 3 – 8 (pricing similar to boys winter program) • 9-week Girls Varsity League with 8 teams participating • Participating Teams: Eden Prairie (2), Blake, Edina, Holy Family, BSM, Minnetonka, Chan/Apple Valley • Benefits: excellent competition, team work preparing for spring MSHSL season, and excellent coaching from JV and varsity coaches** • Monday and Thursday nights • 8:30 and 9:30 start times • Full field games • Referees will explain all new rules to girls during winter, allowing easier transition to spring season. • ** MSHSL coaches DO NOT coach their own teams. 16

  14. 2014 Winter Programs (cont.): • Savage Winter Lacrosse League***: • Boys U13 (7v7), U15, 9/10 and Varsity divisions • Saturdays @ Savage Sports Dome • December 14, 2013 – February 22, 2014 • Approximately $140 for U13 players and $180 for U15, 9/10 and Varsity players • *** EPLA participation still in discussion 17
