Group Play Therapy Techniques & Play Therapy with Special Populations Presenters Sharolyn Wallace, Ph.D., LCSW, RPT-S and Wakie Johnson, M.Ed., LPC Dr. Wallace was the President of the Oklahoma Association for Play Therapy in 2000, 2003-2004. She currently serves on the OKAPT Executive Board as the Director of Continuing Education. Dr. Wallace has had extensive experience in working with children. Ms. Johnson was the President of the Oklahoma Association for Play Therapy in 2005 and currently serves on the OKAPT Executive Board as Past-President. She owns her own private practice in Tulsa, where she has worked extensively using play therapy. November 17, 2006 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 10:00-5:00 Conference 12:30-1:30 Lunch Break Learning Objectives • Participants will identify appropriate group play therapy techniques with specific client populations. • Participants will identify and demonstrate appropriate play therapy techniques with special populations. • Participants will demonstrate incorporation of play therapy techniques in groups as well as special populations. The conference will be held at Southwestern Oklahoma State University Conference Center. CEU’s will be provided for: LPC, LBP, LCSW and Play Therapy. OKAPT provider number is 00-091.
