  3. OUR MISSION To provide opportunities for women and minority students within the multimedia and entertainment industry. • To date…. • 450 interns • Sixty (60) media/entertainment host companies • At least 67 THF interns have been hired as permanent employees in the industry

A Comprehensive Approach to Diversity • Summer and Fall Internships • Preparing students for entry-level employment, developing tangible and marketable skills • Career Awareness • Outreach to universities to increase awareness of media/entertainment opportunities • Industry Awareness • Outreach to industry executives and managers about diverse candidates • Professional Development • Pre-internship orientation, a post-internship debriefing, alumni network, the Annual Dinner, webinar sessions

Who Can Apply? • Ethnic minority or female • Full-time student at an accredited, 4-year college in the US • Not graduating before December 31, 2009 • Legally eligible to work in the US (F1 Visa accepted) • Available to work full-time from June thru August • We do not provide housing, participants are encouraged to stay with family or friends for the summer internship period
