  2. What is Site map?? > Collection of all the Pages and Help to index to Major search Engine. > Redirects the Search engine to all path of the website as we desired arrangement in site map. Eg:

  4. Important Need of Sitemap Site map =Informs=> important pages on website =to=> Search Engines. So that ,Your important web pages increases its visibility in Google, Bing, Yahoo, Baidu, Yandex etc. > Ensures indexing of the web pages.

XML Site maps are especially helpful when • You have a brand new website • Your web-site has dynamic content generated by CMS (Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, Dot Net Nuke, etc) • Your have got a lot of pages • You don't have desired Google Page Rank • Your website has complex navigation • Some of your web pages are either not accessible from the main page and its children, or are buried too deep in the page hierarchy.

Last modified date indicates > The time of the URL was last modified. > This information allows search engines' crawlers to avoid re crawling documents that haven’t changed.

Parameter Details Page priority indicates • The priority of a particular page relative to other pages on the same website. • Google specified the value for this tag is a number between 0.0 and 1.0 where • 0.0 identifies the lowest priority page(s) on your website • 1.0 - the highest priority page(s) on your website. • The default priority of a page is 0.5.
