Conference preparation and organisation: Towards the European Conference and Show Case.“ladybizIT” will do it by… • Setting up appealing and informative conference webpages to be continuously updated promoting the event • Putting together a Conference Scientific Committee consisting of highly knowledgeable scientific experts with complementary expertise on women entrepreneurship, ICT training and development, as well as on conference organisation and implementation to set up the conference preparation and organisation scenario • Organising and coordinating a ‘Call for Papers’ addressing the issue • Organising three roundtables to build up the conference dialogue, raise interest and identify solutions for the issue at hand, as well as to follow-up and review the conference impact while defining next steps for effective exploitation

  6. The ‘ladybizIT’ European Conference and Show Case: ‘More technologies? More women entrepreneurs!’ The European Conference and Showcase ‘More technologies? More women entrepreneurs!’ intends to present results of recent European projects focusing on women and ICT representing a great variety of European countries and transnational consortia that could encourage and facilitate women to launch and/or maintain their own sustainable businesses through the use of available ready-to-use ICT tools. The main organisational axes of the ‘ladybizit’ ‘More technologies? More women entrepereneurs!’ Conference are: • A full delegate’s informative and promotional material will be designed and put together to be handed out to all conference participants including Speakers’ CVs, Booklet of published papers, evaluation questionnaire, European projects leaflets and promotional material • A range of speakers will be hosted to inaugurate the conference, as well as to present multifaceted dimensions of women entrepreneurship and ICT in the EU • A Show Case of the selected projects supported by promotional material will run at a designated area. • A special ‘Authors area’ will serve as a meeting point for papers authors and conference participants • Three breakout sessions will provide practical and actual learning on the spot covering: - Mentoring of women entrepreneurs - Introduction to useful ICT skills - Social Media and ways to support women entrepreneurs • A young women entrepreneur will be invited to close the conference sending a message for the next women entrepreneurial generation.
