  2. Why do you write? “I wrote this because it was an essay and a contest. I won so my story got featured in a magazine and people that liked it asked me to the whole story. ”

  3. Where do you find inspiration for the story? “From what I lived and how hard it was and I also wanted other people to get inspired by my story. So they could see that it isn’t easy to be a foster child for years.”

  4. What is the most challenging part of writing? “The hardest thing would be all the things I had to relive for my book and putting feeling to it because I really didn’t remember what I passed by.”

  5. What is the most rewarding part of being a author? “ Learning about me and other kids. Also going to so many places and helping so many people. Also learning the meaning of life.”

  6. What did you feel when you wrote this book? “I felt like I was helping people understand how important this is and how I was making other people realize that us as people have to live life bacause you always learn something from it.”

  7. What made you a stronger person? “Knowing I’m a good person, while most of my old foster parents are in problems or even in jail. Also that I’m here because of myself, my old foster parents really didn’t care about there children, but the money.”

  8. Was your life really that difficult? “ Yes, because I would get tortured for a while in lived with a family. I would be treated like a animal not like family like they all promised they would treat me. .”
