  3. * Measuring immigration of Tunisians and Foreignersthrough several questions in the individual form in the Population Census 2004 (RGPH 2004): • Country of birth • Country of citizenship • Country of residence in April 1999 (i.e. 5 years before the census date) • Main reason of immigration (occupation, education, marriage, family reunification, definitive return, ...)

  4. * Measuring emigration of Tunisians through an emigration module: Identification of each person residing abroad who is member of a family nucleus and was residing within an household in April 1999 • Each household consists of one or more family nuclei • The family nucleus is composed of: • - Couple with children • Couple without children • Mother widowed or divorced with children • Woman widowed or divorced wihout children • Father widow or divorced with children • Man widow or divorced without children
