  2. Who can remember our prepositions song? Über, auf, Über, auf An, in, vor. An, in, vor. Hinter, neben, zwischen Hinter, neben, zwischen Unterauch. Unterauch.

  3. Über, auf, An, in, vor. Hinter, neben, zwischen and Unter are used with both the dative and accusative cases.

  4. When they refer to a fixed location, the dative case is required (like we learned in Unit 5). Waldo istvordemStuhl. Die Fahneist an der Wand.

  5. When these prepositions describe movement toward a place or location, the accusative case is required. Ichhänge die Fahne an die Wand.
