    • Increase awareness of Water Polo/ Mini-Polo!

    • Increase participation

    • Develop pathway and club structures/networks

    • Support development of young talent players

    • Develop the workforce

    • Develop a structured Competition framework

    • Communication Strategy

    • Influencing facility development to accommodate the needs of Water Polo


What has happen so far

What has happen so far?

  • Approx £60k investment into the England Talent Programme supporting 100+ players

  • Approx £10K investment over 2 years into 8 coaches on the Advance Coaching Scheme

  • UKCC Level 3 Water Polo Pilot course has started

  • Continual development of Water Polo clubs and structures in Crystal Palace, West Midlands, Coventry and Bristol

  • Working on development of a school polo programme (RAPIDS)

  • Swim21 British Gas Fund for clubs

  • NCTP/ NPTS resources

  • Development of a CPD/workshop on engaging with LA/LP

  • Leadership/ Support from Csaba Rull.

  • Meetings with Regional Directors

  • The plan will then be monitored by the Water Polo Group nationally.
