Brief Intro on SIMR WG and SD-326 SIMR WG Service Innovation and Market Requirements Working Group Drive BBF with medium-to-long term work directions and requirements in order to lead innovation in broadband networks SD-326 Flexible Service Chaining Still a work in progress the final document intended for internal BBF use select use cases and identify technical gaps that will require technical specification work in other BBF WGs or partner organisations (e.g. IETF) expect that it will lead to published extensions to broadband network architecture and corresponding nodal requirements (a typical BBF activity) possibly imply some new protocol(s) or extensions (a typical IETF activity)

Expectations for SFC WG Review and comment on the BBF use cases Take those BBF use cases it feels are relevant and consider them Liaise back any comments on the use cases to the BBF, note the SFC WG consideration of the BBF use cases asking those interested in BBF to get involved on SFC updating relevant use cases or proposing new ones
