Making Nouns/Adjectives Plural. If the noun ends in a vowel, just add –s. (i.e. Comida would be comidas ) If the noun ends in a consonant, add – es . (i.e. pared would be paredes ) If the noun ends in a –z, change it to –c, and add – es . (i.e. Lápiz would be lápices )

  1. Making Nouns/Adjectives Plural • If the noun ends in a vowel, just add –s. (i.e. Comida would be comidas) • If the noun ends in a consonant, add –es. (i.e. pared would be paredes) • If the noun ends in a –z, change it to –c, and add –es. (i.e. Lápiz would be lápices) • The definite or indefinite articles must change if they are used as well • El to Los • La to Las • Un to unos • Una to unas • Adjectives must be made plural if the noun that they are describing is plural. • Examples: • The girl is pretty. The girls are pretty. • La chicaesbonita. Las chicas son bonitas.
