Establishing regional priorities

Establishing Regional Priorities

  • FDOT requires that candidate TRIP and RMUT Projects be prioritized and adopted by a regional entity such as the West Central Florida Chairs Coordinating Committee (CCC).

  • In order to establish regional priorities, the TPO and Sarasota/Manatee MPO have scheduled joint meetings that will include members from both MPO/TPO. Meeting will take place the week of June the 4th.

  • Staff is requesting that the Board appoint up to four (4) members to represent the TPO at this meeting.

  • The results from this joint meeting will be the basis for our recommendation to the CCC which will meet on June 8th.
