  2. Media Center Hours: 9:00 a.m. – 3:50 p.m.Monday – Friday

Visiting the Media Center • BEFORE SCHOOL: - You must have a pass to enter the media center before school. - Only those students WORKING (using computers for school work, checking out books, reading, doing homework, etc.) may be in the Media Center. NO “hanging out” or playing games on computers.

  4. DURING THE SCHOOL DAY - You MUST have a pass from your teacher to visit the Media Center during the school day. • AFTER SCHOOL - The Media Center is not open after school.

  6. Computers • Computers are only used for school assignments and school related work. • E-mail is prohibited, unless you must email a teacher for a class assignment. • You must bring your own paper to print from the Media Center.

  7. Checking Out • Bring your Agenda Book with your Barcode stickers in it each time you come to the Media Center to check-out. • 3 Books for 2 weeks • Books may be renewed once

  8. Network, Internet & Computer Use • Student must fill out an Internet Agreement form with parent/guardian signature to have a student user account • Computers are intended for research, communication with teachers, word processing and educational purposes only.

  9. Online Resources Online resources are useful in locating materials. They can be accessed from school or home through the Cobb homepage. Destiny Online Material Catalog – in the media center & at home every computer has access to our entire collection!

  12. Plagiarism Contract • Read and share your Plagiarism Contract with your parents, get it signed, and turn it in to your Language Arts teacher!
