Functional Skills TutorBASED: REGIONAL ROLE HOURS: Full-timeSALARY: £16,000 - £22,000 We require an experienced Functional Skills tutor to design and deliver Functional Skills programmes in English, Maths and ICT up to level 2 that supports our Apprenticeship delivery. The successful applicant will undertake a varied and demanding role delivering training sessions across the region. We seek to recruit a candidate with previous experience of delivering Functional Skills in all three subjects, with a teaching qualification and specialism to Level 4 or 5 in at least one of the subjects. The successful candidate will be responsible for:- Designing a 12 week scheme of work to support learners in English, Maths and ICT to achieve Level 1 and 2 Functional Skills Delivering sessions in Level 1 and 2 Functional Skills across these rolling 12 week programmes throughout the region Recording learning for individual learners and updating their vocational Training Adviser with their progress Developing Functional Skills resources to support classroom deliveryand online learning Providing one to one support in the learners’ work environment where required to support additional needs Working with the Business Improvement Adviser to develop projects for embedding Functional Skills into vocational programmes Accurate and timely completion of documentation You will have the ability to work with a wide range of people and have excellent written / verbal communication skills, together with attention to detail and a commitment to life long learning.
