  4. Where is my dinner? Naturl Resources • vegetables for dye • dogs to hunt food • grinding stones to grind • wool sheep to make clothing

  5. TOOLS • Used bow-arrows • Girls used tools in games • Learned to use tolls from tribe members

  6. Transportation • stole horses • walked short ways • rode long ways • lived by them selves

  7. Homes • Navajo lived in hogan • The door always faced east • Made of mud, logs stones

  8. BELIEFS • The sun dance believed to bring sun • Sand painting very important • Kachina doll brings rain to crops

  9. ART • Used blue ziorn just like in clothes • Learned art from Pueblo Indians • Earned millions of dollars because of art

  10. Navajo Today • Today Navajo still stand strong and proud • Have same ceremonies • Live on Navajo Reservation
