Why was alexander the great considered a leader? • Alexander the Great was considered a great leader because he took over the largest empire as a king at a young age and greatly expanded that empire. • He was considered the greatest military genius of all time. He was one of the greatest leaders of all time because he ruled with an iron fist and he was amazing at putting together military strategies.

  3. Who were the followers of alexander the great? • The Romans and the Macedonian’s were the main ones to follow Alexander the Great. • Also soldiers followed him since he was the greatest military leader antiquity.

  4. What characteristics separate alexander the great from others? • He was a great leader who improved trade, road systems, plumbing and public sanitation and protection of the roman people. • He kept a high set of moral standards, and put the empire into a phenomenal state until his death in the early 2nd century. • He was king of Macedonia and leader of an alliance of the Greek City States.

  5. How long was alexander the great in a leadership capacity? Why? • Alexander the Great was in power from 20/21 July 356 to 10/11 June 323 B.C. • The reason he stopped ruling was because he became ill and passed away June 13, 323 B.C.

  6. Positive traits of alexander the great that made them attractive to others • He was king of Macedonia and leader of an alliance of the Greek City States. • The Leadership roles he made. • His military actions attracted others. • He was a hard worker. • Tried to improve everyone's life's.

  7. Negative traits that made them attractive to others • Alexander had became obsessed with power, and being above the law. • He killed some of the men who had been close friends and generals of his and his father. • He had a habit of drinking too much alcohol.

  8. Where did alexander the great come from? • Alexander the Great was a Greek from the Argaed dynasty on his fathers side. • He came from a wealthy family.

How does alexander the great’s background affect his leadership position? • Alexander had conquered and became King of Macedonia. • He also became the king of Persia, Babylon and Asia, and created Macedonian colonies in Iran.  • His military training influenced his success in conquering lands.

  11. What caused alexander the great to fall from power? • What caused Alexander to fall from power was his death. • He passed away of typhoid and alcohol poising. • So after his passing, no one has conquered as much as Alexander the great has.
