As a developer, you should know how Android compares to iOS at least at some level. • Apple iOS is a proprietary operating system, while Android is open source • Android uses the Linux kernel software for all of its versions. This is different from iOS, which works only on Mac products. • Android has no approval process when it comes to apps.
