Tactics of Project Planning Management
A project management plan is a formal, approved document that defines how the project is executed, monitored and controlled. It may be summary or detailed and may be composed of one or more subsidiary management plans and other planning documents. The objective of a management plan is to define the approach to be used by the Project team to deliver the intended project management scope of the project. The project manager creates the plan following input from the project team and key stakeholders. The plan should be agreed and approved by at least the project team and its key stakeholders.
A project can be defined as defined goals with a beginning and an end and I usually results in a product or a service. The process of managing the whole lifecycle of a project involving planning, resource management, quality checks and implementation is called Project Management.
Key deliverables in any project are end product, functional documents, quality check reports, status reports and a regularized delivery when a certain quality of the product is achieved to check the progress of work.
Project manager is responsible for the overall execution of the project. He is the main person of contact right from when the project is conceived till it is delivered. He is responsible for delivering all the deliverables as per schedule.
