  1. Similarity Postulates Sections 6.4 & 6.5

  2. Angle-Angle Similarity Postulate (AA) • If two angles of one triangle are congruent to two angles of another triangle, then the two triangles are similar.

  3. Side-Side-Side Similarity Theorem • If the corresponding side lengths of two triangles are proportional, then the triangles are similar.

  4. Side-Angle-Side Similarity Theorem • If an angle of one triangle is congruent to an angle of a second triangle and the lengths of the sides including these angles are proportional, then the triangles are similar.

  5. Show that each set of triangles is similar

  6. Show that the two triangles are similar.

  7. Assignment • p. 384: 3-16 • p. 391: 3-14
