Twenty-six CNL (blue arrows) are regrouped in four sub-clusters named A to D. Two gaps are indicated by dotted lines. The orientation of predicted genes is indicated by colored arrows. Khipu tandem repeats (A – L) are in purple, with a purple arrow on the left. Numbers of khipu units from 1 in “I” to 29 in “C” and the size of the corresponding region are indicated in bracket after the name of the considered khipu tandem repeat. Khipu tandem repeat are mostly found in sub-cluster A to C. Genetic positions are shown on the right. Orientation of khipu tandem repeats and CNL is indicated by letters “d” or “r” in bracket for direct and reverse, respectively. Markers derived from the BAC clones described in David et al. (2008) are presented to the right of their corresponding genetic position. BAC clones FZ-E9 and 48-B10 have been mapped at GP 4 and 1, respectively. Orientations of these two BAC clones are unknown, so arbitrary orientations were chosen for this schematic representation. The % of nucleotide identity (minimum/average/maximum)among the CNL of a considered sub-cluster are presented in brackets under the name of each sub-cluster.
