Warm-up: 7/24 Homework out on your desk: • Information Sheets (Syllabus, Getting to Know You) • Reading Notes 1.1-1.2 – Cornell POD: (answer in complete sentences and on looseleaf paper in warm-ups section of binder) • How is a homework assignment graded if it is two class days late? • Pick one classroom expectation and describe how you will fulfill this expectation every day. Use at least 4 sentences. Don’t forget your summary at the end of your Cornell Notes from yesterday

  6. Dress Code • Dress checks are done first period. • Please know the dress policy! • Shirt • Short/Skirt • Belts • Shoes • Hats • Jewelry • Monday – Thursday vs. Friday

  7. Start of Class Procedures • Please be on time and prepared to class. • Warm-ups are an activity you do immediately upon coming in to class. They are on a separate piece of paper and get placed in the warm-ups section of your binder. Title them with Warm-up: Date • Make sure your homework is out and on your desk at the beginning of class or else it will be considered late. • Place your backpacks under your chair.

  8. Late/Absent Work Procedures LATE WORK • Fill in a Late Pass from the front bin. • Attach pass to the upper left corner of the assignment and hand in to the appropriate bin. • Assignment will only receive 50% of credit earned if one day late. • Assignment will earn 0% if two or more days late. ABSENT WORK • Get the assignments and papers you missed from crate. • Hand in any absent work – fill out and attach the absent pass to upper left corner and place in the proper bin.

  9. Restroom Procedures • Take care of restroom business between classes. • Restroom passes will be given. You only receive two passes per semester. • NGCW (Need to Go and Can’t Wait) • Remove one pass from your sheet, fill it out • Hand it into the RR Passes bin at the front of the room. • Sign out and take the HALL PASS. • When you return, replace the pass and sign back in.
