  2. Today we will • Understand why it is important to consider audience and purpose when creating presentations • Understand key components of a good business presentation • Create the basic structure for our presentation • Start to plan the content. • But first………….

  3. Bank will U lend me muney • My business • I have started a business that makes and sells tent pegs to the camping market. There are hundreds of thousands of people who go camping every year and as we all know they all lose tent pigs. There is a monster market in tent pegs as yet not fully covered by other businesses. Some will lose up to 10% of their tent pegs every year so that’s a complete set of tent pegs every ten years. Not bed eh? I need loadsa muney ABOUT 10 GRAND to start ma bizness so gimme it!

  8. Now start to create the structure • Start PowerPoint • Create 5 empty slides • Modify the Slide Master to reflect your house style • Create your slide headings • Only then start thinking about text and graphics content
