My dashboard • My Family • Leaders will show all Scouts that they are linked/connected to • My Units • Access to Pack/Troop information • Messages • Capability for quick messaging of Leaders, Parents, and Scouts (Troop side) • Texting to mobile devices – Leaders and Parents can register phone numbers to receive text updates in case of travelling and event changes • Ability to BCC, sometimes preferred sometimes not, • Parental preferences not share their email with entire group • If not selected will show emails, especially helpful when sharing information with leadership • Replies will come to your registered email with Scoutbook • Only way to confirm who received messages that were sent is to not check the BCC box • Message body Is a non html message service, so only text is available • Files/Pictures attachments, Images and files must be included as attachments • Be aware of timeouts, type messages in alternate platform (i.e. Word, Outlook) and copy/paste into Scoutbook message box

My dashboard • Events • Full calendar, upcoming events listing, automated reminders, attendance tracking, RSVPing • SUBSCRIPTION to Scoutbook Calendar, when events are created/updated the are automatically uploaded to your primary calendar source, (i.e. Google, Apple, etc.). • Can share example afterward if interested. • Subscription to Events will not include comments made on events being forwarded to your registered email, must check for these by logging into Scoutbook and going to events page • Reports • Rosters • Trained Leaders • Attendance • Approvals, Purchasing, and Awarding of Adventures, Ranks, and Badges • Percentage completed reports • Health Records (not records themselves, but records date) • Payments Log/Tracking • Activity Logs • Custom Reports via Report Builder • Awards PO for purchases at local Scout Shop, print and take hard copy for them to keep • Does anyone know if it can be emailed/faxed ahead of time to expedite pickups? • https://www.scoutbook.com/mobile/dashboard/

MOBIle platform • Scoutbook is a Mobile platform site • Can be converted on mobile phones into a pseudoapp through a mobile browser link • Using preferred Web Browser, search for “Scoutbook” • Open Scoutbook.com link and go to login • Login to Scoutbook • Save link to Home Screen either on iPhone or Android devices • BSA Eagle Logo will appear and be saved onto your Home Screen to be moved into your Scoutstuff folder with all your other scouting apps/links • When tap to open will take you directly to your login page for Scoutbook • Scouting App for Parents & Scouts • Version of Scoutbook for Parents/Scouts to track and review Scouts acitivities (Beta released 2/28/18
