Guidelines to communication3

If you have a concern to discuss with a coach

  • Call/email to set up an appointment with the coach

  • If the coach cannot be reached, contact the athletic director…he will set up the meeting for you

  • Please do not attempt to confront a coach before or after practice or a contest. Meetings during these times usually do not promote positive resolutions.

Guidelines to Communication

Sportsmanship

Deland High School is proud of the behavior and sportsmanship displayed by its players, coaches, and supporters. We value healthy rivalry, encourage spirited and fair play, and appreciate positive support offered by spectators. DHS players, coaches and fans represent themselves, their teams, and their school with pride and dignity. We treat visiting teams and officials as guests, extending to them every courtesy.

We are humble in victory and gracious in defeat.
