Course Materials • Holt Medieval to Early Modern Times • Topics include: Archeology, Early Americas, West African Kingdoms, the rise of Islam, Medieval Japan and China, and Europe from the fall of Rome to the Enlightenment. • Various videos, articles, supplemental books, art projects, and simulations.

  3. Assessments and Grading • Quizzes/Tests = 50% • Classwork/Projects/ Notebook = 30% • Homework = 20%

  4. Homework/Classwork • PLEASE CHECK THE AGENDA BOOK DAILY! • Reviews concepts covered in class. • Points will be given for completed work or correct answers. • Absent students will have one day for every day they are absent to make up work.

  5. Homework (continued) • Late work will receive only half credit. • Family emergencies • Late projects will go down one letter grade for each day over the due date. • Any late work turned in after one week beyond the due date will receive only 10% credit.

  6. Aeries Grade Portal • Be sure to check your child’s grades online. • Go to www.jeffersonschooldistrict.com and click on Grades. • If you need instructions on how to sign in, please see the school office. Please email me if you need the password.
