  1. SEMINAR « Inclusive Employment » Vientiane, 7 – 11 October 2013 • Who I am ? My name is Pham ThiBaoChinh and I am from Vietnam. I hold a BA in Education and a Masters of Advanced Studies in Development Studies. I enjoy working in the area of education and employment for people from disadvantaged backgrounds. In addition to work, I enjoy travelling, watching movies and drawing. • I am an expert / specialist in … I have 4 years experience in fundraising and 4 years in project execution and management. I am familiar with non-formal education, employment support schemes and qualitative research in the Vietnamese context. My picture

SEMINAR « Inclusive Employment » Vientiane, 7 – 11 October 2013 • What questions would you like this seminar to answer? • Vocational training models in rural areas • Employment options for people with visual and intellectual disabilities and people with spinal core injuries • Self-employment • Sustainability of agricultural business projects • The notion of “decent work” and “decent income” • The role of DPOs in employment for people with disabilities • Wage-employment • Models to support people with disabilities to find jobs in an environment where “direct employment” is embraced and the role of employment service centers is undefined • The need of CBR in Employment projects

SEMINAR « Inclusive Employment » Vientiane, 7 – 11 October 2013 • What are the main challenges and stakes for the future of an inclusive employment project ? • Sustainabile models, in terms of participation from local partners • To address the mismatch between the quality of labourers with disabilities and the requirements of employers • The unprotected local agricultural market • The lack of economic expertise in project design and implementation • The lack of a comprehensive model (rehabilitation, training, employment, raising awareness, etc.)
